Heartburn Help-check

Heartburn Help-check is a concept project designed and developed to provide medical information on heartburn and acid reflux to patients of a fictional healthcare provider- Healthy Trust Hospitals (HTH).

The Challenge

I got the idea for this concept project whilst searching for information on the NHS website. The content is sourced from this article on that website.  I wondered what incorporating multimedia into the textual content would look and feel like.  So, my goal was to design an interactive patient information leaflet for mobile.

The Process & Challenges

To reduce the cognitive load of presenting the information as is, I redesigned it by chunking it up to make it more digestible. I also played around with laying out the content differently. I did all this in Word. I designed the layout for the screens in Canva before developing the learning solution in Storyline.

The Solution

The outcome is an interactive mobile experience that provides information in an engaging way.  Some of the screens from the project are shown below.
